What's worse is that people who are too stupid not to be safe and end up having a baby not only making their lives harder, but practically screw over the baby's life over as well. Supposedly I go to one of the top public schools in the country (blue ribbon yadda yadda) and even though we are mandatorally taught about sex protection every year, the school doesn't really do much to reinforce it. They kind of just go over the subject and then act like it doesn't exist. I've seen teachers eavesdropping on kids during lunch (it's not like we aren't loud enough anyway) and most talk is either constantly sex or drugs (so much for blue ribbon school...Jersey is filled with wanna-be-gangsta kids).

I just have no idea what ever went wrong in this country. Something went horribly wrong, and what irks me is that most Americans have the nerve to go about criticizing how other countries go about with their health care or education when obviously it's working a hell of a lot better than the sh*t we're dishing out. Did you know United Kingdom citizens get a year maternity leave with at least 39 weeks of pay of 90% of their average regular earnings? And America's? Well most united states citizens only get 5-6 weeks of pay (30% of america) while only 8% ever get more than 12 weeks of pay; and that's if your company even gives you more than 6 weeks of actual leave, which is extremely rare unless you have a good job position. What's worse is even the birth control and medicine we give out (for extremely expensive prices) usually have COMMON side effects that are worse or practically the same as what they're trying to treat or prevent. Most hospitals even cover up this fact by putting down heart attack or stroke on death certificates; those that were invoked by the treatment patients were getting. America's FDA doesn't put as much research and time into investigating pharmaceuticals as they should, although that isn't very surprising.

America isn't a Republic anymore; We were a money suckling country long before anyone started realizing it. Woop de fucking doo America, you've finally done it, you've succeeded in creating the most powerful smartest stupidest country in the world.

To think this is coming from one of your high school sophomores. For shame America, for shame.

By my Mom's personal experience working in the medical field and her experiences with a critical illness there is much that the allopathic medical field do not tell you because it is fundamentally based on profit.
